Bitterviper is a new experimental supergroup featuring four idiosyncratic musicians who are responsible for some of the most striking and wildly music of the last decades – Greek, Athens-based cellist Nikos Veliotis, who has developed an experimental practice, exploring image and sound, mainly through the cello; Japanese, Tokyo-based sound artist and synth player (and in-demand sound engineer) Taku Unami, whose work is influenced by science fiction, supernatural horror and weird fiction, and the head of Hibari Music label; American, Upstate New York-based contemporary composer and percussionist Sarah Hennies, whose work is concerned with a variety of musical, sociopolitical, and psychological issues including queer and trans identity, psychoacoustics, and the social and neurological conditions underlying creative thought; and
