Two new but different, free improvised duos of German, Berlin-based clarinetist Michael Thieke (of The International Nothing duo and Magda Mayas’ Filamental), known for his minutiae explorations of sound, timbre, and noise, with a great focus on microtonality and related sound phenomena.
Weaving Waves is a duo with Turkish cellist (and photographer, who took the cover photo) Anil Eraslan, who has musical projects in Berlin, Strasbourg, and Istanbul, ranging from Anatolian traditional music to experimental music, noise, and free improvised music.
