Argentinian tenor and sopranino sax player Ada Rave (a student of Michael Moore, of Kaja Draksler Octet, Hearth quartet and leader of her own trio) and Polish pianist Marta Warelis (of the Still Life with Lemons sextet and the omawi trio, and a collaborator of Ken Vandermark, Andy Moor, and Dave Douglas), are two luminaries of Amsterdam’s free improvised music scene. They have been collaborating as a duo, in the Hupata! trio with Taiwanese percussionist Yung-Tuan Ku, and the quartet plÜscH (with fellow Argentinian sax player Camila Nebbia and German drummer Christian Lillinger).
