Greek, Athens-based sound artist Spyros Polychronopoulos (aka Spyweirdos) is deeply immersed in the world of sound, exploring its multifaceted nature as both a scientific phenomenon and an artistic expression. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Music Technology and Acoustics at Hellenic Mediterranean University, with academic interests in acoustic levitation, musical acoustics, acoustic holography, and room acoustics. Fellow Greek, Berlin-based Yorgos Dimitriadis is a percussionist, composer, and improviser who uses drums, cymbals, and microphones to create real-time sonic landscapes, with an emphasis on timbre, sound color, and long durations, and is known for his collaborations with innovative improvisers like Andrea Parkins, Michael Thieke, and AchimΒ  Kaufmann.
