The free improvising trio A PART features Japanese, Berlin-based baroque and contemporary music violist Marie Takahashi with French free music drummer and electronics player Thierry Waziniak, who describes himself as a “geobiologist specialized in the harmonization of living spaces” (he released the trio’s album on his Intrication label and is known for his collaborations with such innovative improvisers as Jean-Jacques Avenel, Barre Philipps, Benjamin Duboc, Gaël Mevel, Michaël Attias, Xavier Charles, Franz Hautzinger, Isabelle Duthoit, and Michel Doneda), and young, indie rock electric guitarist Baptiste Vayer. They relesead a CD titled Muted Songs.
