FWWU (Fire Walk With Us) is the exploratory guitar duo of French Christian Vasseur, who plays an 11-string alto guitar tuned in quarter tone (made by luthier Philip Woodfield), with twin three-way piezo pickups under the bridge, and American, Brussels-based Steve Gibbs, who plays an 8-string classical guitar (made by luthiers Alastair McNeill and Jack Sanders) with four-way piezo pickups under the fretboard.
The double album FWWU+ Duos Trios features on its first album the FWWU duo’s incarnation of their album Jungle Gentle Jig (Alina, 2018), with Vasseur on the left channel and Gibbs on the right one.
