Omnivore is an experimental Swiss trio featuring vocal artist Vera Baumann (who plays with Gerry Hemingway in the trio MingBauSet), who extended her vocal palette with pedals, cellist (and double bass player, songwriter, and author, who plays with Hemingway in the Day & Taxi trio) Silvan Jeger, who also uses pedals, and laptop and electronics player (and producer) Lua Jungck. Yber Hybris is Omnivore’s debut album, recorded in a two-day session at WIM Studio in Zürich in July 2024, after the trio had played only two performances.
