Three masters of free improvisation with an accumulative experience of more than one hundred years in the art of the moment – French baritone saxophonist Daunik Lazro (b. 1945), double bass player Joëlle Léandre (b.1951), and German drummer Paul Lovens (b.1949), at Les temps du corps in Paris in May 2013. Lazro, Léandre, and Lovens recorded together before in the free-improv super quartet, with Portuguese violinist Carlos Zingaro, Madly You (Potlatch, 2002, both recordings by Léandre’s faithful sound engineer, avid chorichel of live performances (and vintage synth explorer) Jean-Marc Foussat), but Lazro and Léandre have been collaborating since the late 1980s, as well as Léandre and Lovens.
