The Hajstra free improvising duo was formed by Polish, Poznań-based guitarist Paweł Doskocz and Catalan, Barcelona-based prolific drums and percussion wizard Vasco Trilla, and recorded its debut, self-titled album during the spring edition of the Spontaneous Live Series at the Dragon Social Club in Poznań in May 2018 (Antenna Non Grata, 2018). Five years later, Hajstra became a trio with Polish flutist Zofia Ilnicka, and recorded In the no time in Poznań in 2023.
Doskocz is a mainstay in the Spontaneous Live Series and has performed with such European improvisers as Jasper Stadhouders, Onno Govaert, Andrew Lisle, Guilherme Rodrigue, Vasco Furtado, Yedo Gibson, Seppe Gebruers, and Diego Caicedo. Trilla is fascinated by the sound
