Finola Merivale is an Irish pianist, composer, improviser, and sound artist based in France and Ireland. Her music demands deep listening and focuses on socio-political issues, the climate crisis, nature and a sense of place – both real and imagined. Catherine Sikora is an Irish-born, New Mexico-based tenor and soprano sax player, improviser, and educator, who is fascinated by the sound of air vibrating in a metal tube and devotes herself to researching the magic of that sound with her saxophones.
