Michel Doneda is a French, self-taught soprano (and sopranino) sax player who has developed a highly personal approach to his instrument and to free-improvised music. He has collaborated with many innovative improvisers, including Fred Van Hove, Steve Beresford,  John Zorn, Elliott Sharp, Barre Phillips, and Keith Rowe.

Philippe Lauzier is a younger-generation Canadian, Montréal-based alto sax player (and bass clarinetist), sound artist, and educator whose practice focuses on exploring new sounds, extended techniques, harmony and microtonality, recording, sporadic electronic hybridizations, and interdisciplinary collaborations. He often composes and performs music using synthesizers, prepared piano, harmonium and modified instruments.
