Il 31 Maggio scorso ha lasciato questo mondo il compositore Ingram Douglass Marshall (1942-2022). Molti critici hanno sbrigativamente recensito la sua musica come minimalismo, ma è piuttosto difficile poter affermare che Marshall fosse tra i minimalisti puri e non solo per via della sua formazione, ossia la scuola di elettronica di Ussachevsky e Subotnick.
