Puzzle is a game that demands patience to assemble its irregular pieces and construct a visual image. Composing music demands similar qualities, especially if the music relates to inspiring, pioneer feminist heroes and involves fellow close musician comrades. Puzzle is the project of French double bass player Hélène Labarrière. It was first performed in 2022, recorded three years later at WMStudio in Brussels, and will be presented again at the 17th Jazzdor Strasbourg-Berlin festival in June 2025.
