Trumpeter-researcher Ludovico Franco explores the sonic environment as a complex system and the relationship between improvisation, sonic environment, and urban architecture. Baritone sax player (and tubaist) Federico D’Angelo explores the timbral spectrum of his instruments with extended techniques, and focuses on the dialogue between contemporary music, architecture, and spirituality, especially in the historic churches of Rome.
