Kyle Quass is an American sound poet, improviser, and trumpet player active in the small university town of Bloomington, Indiana, outside the main, familiar American centers for free music, who collaborates regularly with local musicians and releases most of his work on his Bandcamp page. the balance in between documents his duo with local soprano sax player Marty Belcher, captured at the local Primary Sound Studios in November 2025.
