Christina Kubisch is a German, Berlin-based composer and audio-visual artist who belongs to the first generation of sound artists. She is best known for her sound installations and electro-acoustic compositions, which explore acoustic spaces and the dimension of time in the visual arts as well as the relationship between material and form in music.
TUNING collects three enigmatic and thought-provoking works of Kubisch from different periods of her oeuvre, all transforming sonic phenomena originally considered as “non-music” into compositions.
