María Angélica “Mange” Valencia is a Colombian experimental reed player, improviser, and composer, whose work encompasses free improvised music with elements of free jazz and Latin music, and often weaves electronics into her sonic palette. Leonel Kaplan is an Argentinian experimental trumpeter and improviser, whose work sits between free jazz, European reductionism, and the post-Onkyo currents. He has recorded with fellow experimental musicians like Nate Wooley, Axel Dörner, Christof Kurzmann, and Birgit Ulher.
