Brötz Now! Features a trans-Atlantic free improvisation supergroup: American, Sacramento-based alto sax player Jon Raskin (b.1954), co-founder of the legendary Rova Saxophone Quartet, fellow American, Gothenburg-based electronics player Tim Perkis (b.1951), who has collaborated before with Raskin on many projects and opportunities, and Swedish, Stockholm-based pianist Sten Sandell (b.1951), of the legendary trio GUSh, in his first collaboration with Raskin and Perkis. The trio was recorded live at Brötz Jazzklub in Gothenburg, Sweden, in October 2024. Legendary Russian drummer Vladimir Tarasov (b.1947), of the Ganelin Trio, who collaborated before with Rova Saxophone Quartet and Raskin, joined the trio for performances in Riga and the Vilnius Jazz  Festival.
