Unearthing documents the debut album by a newly formed experimental trio of Swedish, Stockholm-based pianist Alex Zethson (of Martin Küchen Angles bands, Mats Gustafsson’s Fire! Orchestra, Anna Högberg Attack, and the head of Thanatosis Produktion label) with French, Brussels-based violinist Clara Levy (who has worked with contemporary ensembles such as Linea, l’Itinéraire, Ictus, Oxalys, Hanatsu Miroir, Dodéka, Ensemble Hopper and composers Kaija Saariaho, Howard Moody, Klaus Lang, Fritz Hauser, and Jürg Frey), and French, Paris-based tubist Fanny Méteier (of the current incarnation of Orchestre National De Jazz), in its first-ever, free improvised meeting at the Midilive Studio in Villetaneuse in December 2024.
