Thomas Rohrer is a Swiss, Brazil-based experimental violinist and sax player. Abdul Moimême is a Portuguese, Lisbon-based experimental guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and architect. On their debut duo album, Outras Margens (Other Margins or Shores), Rohrer plays the rabeca, a type of Portuguese folk variant of the violin, with a Brazilian version that may be tuned in fourths or fifths, and objects. Moimême plays on two electric guitars played simultaneously, objects, and live electronics. The album was recorded at Namouche Studio in Lisbon in October 2023.
