German, Berlin-based hyper-pianist Magda Mayas and Norwegian, Bergen-based experimental, cult guitarist Stephan Meidell collaborated on Meidell’s techno meets baroque album, Metrics (Hubro, 2016), and on the large-scale happening Re~Percussion, highlighting extended acoustic instrumentation, and the way they are handled, the process of evoking resonance, and the eventual consequence, which premiered at Henie Onstad Art Centre in Oslo in 2023.
