Made of Bones is the Portuguese free improvising quartet of guitarist João Clemente (also an electronics player), the head of the experimental scene around the free improvised collective, label, and studio, Profound Whatever, located in the small and remote, mountainous community of the village of Pesinho, Nuno Santos Dias on the vintage electric keyboard Waldorf Zarenbourg, double bass player Ricardo Sousa, and drummer Duarte Fonseca on drums. This band was founded in 2020 and has released ten albums, including collaborations with British singer-songwriter David John Hull, local electronics player Rui Dias, and Spanish musicians.
