Italian, Udine-based trumpeter Flavio Zanuttini likes to experiment and search in whatever musical sphere he gets involved in- solo acoustic, solo electroacoustic, trio, free improvised, or a trio with electronics on the suite Requiem for Democracy, featuring Zanuttini on trumpet, gong, and modular synth; classically trained clarinetist Miljan Minic and French horn player Andrea Liani (both Minic and Liani play only on five pieces); and drummer Marco D’Orlando (only on two pieces). The album was recorded at East Land Recording Studio in Cormons in December 2025.
