Kelsey Mines is an American, Seattle-based double bass player, vocalist, composer, and educator (who teaches at Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University). She has a wealth of wide-ranging experience playing jazz, classical, and experimental music. Her debut solo double bass album, Look Like (Relative Pitch, 2022), was endorsed by French double bass player Joëlle Léandre, praising Mines’ creativity, unique and direct voice, independent vocabulary, and risk-taking approach
