BRRRDS is the Viennese experimental flute-based trio of Christine Gnigler and Maja Osojnik (who is also responsible for field recordings and runs the Mamka labels) and Sara Zlanabitnig, playing on various transverse and recorder flutes, ocarinas, pipes, and other sound-producing objects, combined with vocals. The trio has been exploring the boundless biotopes of free improvisation, early and contemporary music, various forms of electronic and electroacoustic music, and conceptual music since 2022. On its debut album, Glashaus, the trio is joined by modular synth and live electronics player Milena Georgieva, aka yuzu.
