Des Nuits Et Des Jours (Parallel Universes – Nights and Days) is the second album by French prolific multi-instrumentalist, electronics musician, and field recorder Bruno Duplant with Swiss contemporary pianist Judith Wegmann, who is known as the interpreter of the works of Karlheinz Stockhausen, Morton Feldman, and John Cage, following Univers Parallèles (Inexhaustible Editions, 2021). This 42-minute, minimalist, and poetic piece is framed by a quote by American minimalist conceptual-based sculptor Fred Sandback: “The line is a whole, an identity, for a particular place and time”.
